Brendoncare Implements COA Solutions’ Business Intelligence System for the Care Industry
May 2008 - The Brendoncare Foundation, a leading care home provider in the south of England, is implementing Corporate Analytics, a business intelligence (BI) system from COA Solutions (Now Advanced Business Solutions). This new system will help Brendoncare to monitor, analyse and improve its corporate performance by measuring it against an extensive number of financial, human resource and care sector specific key performance indicators (KPIs). The new system will go live late Summer 2008.
Corporate Analytics removes the headache from strategic decision-making by providing finance and human resource (HR) directors with vital information regarding their organisations’ finances, workforce and operations. The system, which comprises two distinct modules, Financial Analytics and People Analytics will be seamlessly integrated into Brendoncare’s existing COA Solutions systems - OpenAccounts finance system and OpenPeople payroll, HR and time and attendance system.
Brendoncare will be working closely with COA Solutions so that KPIs in the Corporate Analytics system are tailored towards the needs of the care sector. As well as generic financial and HR indicators such as gross profit margin and staff absenteeism, there will also be care sector specific KPIs, such as number of residents, number of paid-for beds and death rate.

Once the Corporate Analytics system is live at Brendoncare, COA Solutions will look at rolling-out this care industry specific BI system to other UK care providers.
