University Hospitals Leicester NHS Trust Select COA and Netstore

March 20th, 2007 - University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust has selected Netstore, to provide a fully managedservice for their new Finance & Procurement systems - the COA Solutions (Now Advanced Business Solutions) Health Business Suite. The implementation of the new system is part of University Hospitals Leicester Trust’s Transformation of Finance & Procurement services project that is planned to deliver significant benefits and reinvestment into patient services.

The project will include all core COA Solutions, Version One and Business Objects Software, Support and Maintenance, COA Solutions implementation services and Netstore managed services for the five-year period.  Also the project will use the OB10 invoicing service through the Netstore managed service to lever further benefits from COA Solutions eProcurement by allowing for full automation of the purchase to pay process.

The Trust will also be implementing the COA Solutions Collaborative Planning tool to deliver the radical changes to budgeting, forecasting and reporting proposed by the Audit Commission and the Monitor, the independent regulator for Foundation Trusts

We also recognised that an effective managed service was critical to the success of the transformation project.  This would allow the Trust to concentrate totally on gaining the benefits of the COA Solutions solution whilst being reassured that Netstore will provide a reliable and high quality managed service”
