One of the barriers to most eInvoicing initiatives is that suppliers have to change the way they do things however with Advanced Cloud Invoicing suppliers in the vast majority of cases welcome the change as it reduces the costs of paper invoice production and postage. Also many eInvoicing services in the past have charged the supplier to submit invoices whereas Advanced Cloud Invoicing is free to the supplier.

Almost all supplier billing systems can create a PDF invoice and send via email. In the majority of cases, the PDF will have a text layer, making the invoice data visible to the right technology. Advanced Cloud Invoicing takes advantage of the text layer when processing PDFs, which allows us to offer a 100% quality guarantee in terms of data capture.

How it works Results
Supplier sends invoice. Supplier emails their invoice (e.g. PDF) to their customer (buyer). Advanced Cloud Invoicing converts invoice into an eInvoice.

Advanced Cloud Invoicing manages the email inbox on behalf of the receiver (buyer). The invoice is received, converted into XML and validated.

CIBR eInvoicing connector then takes the XML invoice data from Advanced Cloud Invoicing and passes it through automatically to the Invoice Register and to DbArchive for storage.

High adoption rates. Emailing PDF invoices is the preferred method to invoice for most suppliers.

No footprint or technical change. Advanced Cloud Invoicing leverages technology (e.g. email, PDF) that the supplier already uses.

What makes Advanced Cloud Invoicing special?

Most eTrading initiatives ask the supplier to change their billing system in order to send an electronic file. They may even ask suppliers to change their working practices by logging onto a web portal and manually creating an invoice. This approach is different. We believe that minimising the change required with your suppliers will allow you to get up and running very quickly and maximise the benefits for both parties.

Advanced Cloud Invoicing also takes a different approach to service delivery. As the name suggests, Advanced Cloud Invoicing operates as a service, hosted in the cloud. No software is installed on the supplier side of the service with the CIBR eInvoice Connector automating the load of the Invoices (and associated images) into the Invoice Register without manual intervention – full "lights out processing" from supplier email to Invoice Register.
