Material Requirements Planning (MRP)

The Material Requirements Planning (MRP) module complements the Purchasing and Works Order Processing modules. It is designed to provide the purchasing and works managers with raw material and manufactured goods requirements period by period to satisfy sales demand and create realistic purchasing and production schedules.

MRP offers the ability to combine forecast information with existing order requirements, using a wide range of selection criteria to provide an overview of demand.

This is combined with expected receipts from supplier and manufacture to highlight order requirements to meet the anticipated demand whilst keeping stock levels to realistic minimum levels. The system operates seamlessly with Master Product Scheduling or can be run independently as a planning engine.
