Crosscare achieves accreditation for GP Systems of Choice
13 September 2011 - Advanced Health & Care today announces rollout approval for the Patient Demographics Service, Choose and Book and electronic prescribing (EPS) modules of its Crosscare GP system, making it fully accredited for NHS Connecting for Health’s GP Systems of Choice (GPSoC) scheme. The GPSoC scheme is the means by which the NHS funds the provision of GP clinical IT systems in England and the accreditation of Crosscare now means that GPs interested in moving to Crosscare can do so using funding from central government.
Crosscare, a fully configurable clinical management software system, is now one of six approved GP system suppliers with Level 2 compliance in the GPSoC Framework and its users in England will move to the central GPSoC call-off contract for their system provision. This allows GPs’ local primary care trusts to access government funding for Crosscare.
Crosscare is used by more than 100 NHS and private GP practices in the UK and its hospice system is widely used in the end-of-life care sector.
