A strenuous good cause!
February 2010 - The Burnley v Chelsea premiership match on 30th January was marked by presentation of the £19,000 proceeds of a charity cycle marathon from Bordeaux to Burnley by 20 of the Club’s keenest supporters last April. The end-of-season ride is an annual event and has now raised over £150,000 for the Club’s youth scheme and for local and national charities.
With Advanced Computer Software plc proud to act as Lead Commercial Sponsor for the ride, Adastra's Managing Director Jim Chase was delighted to present cheques from the 2009 ride to Burnley Football Club’s community youth development scheme, and to the Leukaemia Research charity.

A certain Mr Woods did the ride but is still recovering in bed ahead of the next one, which will be a round-England tour visiting all Premiership grounds!
