Crosscare is a fully configurable clinical management system designed for use within four main areas - hospice care, private care, primary care and corporate care. For all of these applications, the same core product is delivered, but the flexibility of the system and commitment of Crosscare’s implementation team means that each customer can create a bespoke product.
Crosscare is the leading clinical management software system used by hospices across the country. Facilitating both adult and children’s services, which each have their own specific requirements and has a full hospice administration module that
caters for incoming referrals and multiple, concurrent episodes of care. It covers a range of care settings including inpatients, outpatients, day care, home care, hospital care and bereavement counselling.
The system produces the annual MDS report required by the National Council of Palliative Care and provides other statistical information required to run hospice services.
Crosscare is the leading clinical system used within private GP practices in and around Harley Street. Available on local servers or as a centrally hosted software service, Crosscare is used by many prominent private practitioners and some of their corporate partners. Alongside the standard clinical record keeping and prescribing systems, Crosscare’s appointments, reporting and integrated accounting modules make the tracking of workload, invoices and revenues simple and user friendly.
The Crosscard Medical records card allows the patient to carry their own medical record with them on a credit card sized, encrypted USB device. The cards can be purchased from Advanced Health & Care by practices to resell on to patients at their own desired cost.
Crosscare is fully accredited for NHS Connecting for Health’s GP Systems of Choice (GPSoC) scheme meaning that GP’s interested in moving to Crosscare can do so using funding from central government. Crosscare is now one of six approved GP system suppliers with Level 2 compliance in the GPSoC Framework. It covers a range of GP practice functionality including QMAS payment submissions and complies with the ongoing Connecting For Health initiatives, including the Patient Demographics Service, Choose and Book and Electronic Prescription Service.
Crosscare is also used by large multi-national corporate companies providing wellness programmes and in-house clinics for their employees. Many employers now look to minimise employee absence by providing healthcare facilities at the office for the benefit of the workforce.
Crosscare holds the medical records for employees and its hosted
service allows them to move between offices around the world with
their records remaining accessible.
