The use of Adastra (with embedded NHS Pathways) supports all five of the core principles of NHS 111 interoperability standards:
1. Ability to despatch to an ambulance without delay
2. Completion of a clinical assessment on the first call without the need for a call back
3. Ability to refer calls to other providers without being re-triaged
4. Ability to transfer clinical assessment data to other providers
5. Ability to book GP appointments where appropriate
NHS Pathways Training Provider
NHS Pathways is an all-encompassing clinical assessment tool which allows cases to be triaged over the telephone by taking calls from the public. Calls can come through on 999, NHS Direct, GP Out of Hours, NHS 111 and any other Single Point of Access number. Allowing call handlers to effectively process calls using one system and deliver the most appropriate outcome for the patient.
An accredited service provider for NHS Pathways training which will be delivered by NHS Pathways trainers employed by Advanced at customer sites or at the Advanced offices in Ashford, Kent.
